A Good Girl's Guide to Murder: Review
Pip decided to collect ‘new’ evidence for this case, because she felt as if a lot was missing. She collects evidence by talking to Sal’s brother, Ravi. Pip is working on this case nonstop. She is so close to figuring it out, but someone is not too pleased with this. Pip starts receiving anonymous threats. Pip is in danger, her family is in danger, even her dog! She keeps collecting evidence, she does not stop. She starts accusing those around her of murder, which makes her a lot of enemies along the way.
While collecting evidence, she realizes that Andie is not the girl Pip thought she was. Andie was a bully and drug dealer. Pip is finally done putting all her puzzle pieces together. She finds out that Sal never committed suicide. Sal also did not murder Andie; he was framed. Pip is praised for her astonishing work and gives Sal’s family closure.
This book was an amazing read. Holly Jackson did a phenomenal job writing this novel, I was so immersed during the whole story. I loved the realism the book brought; I also loved the plot twist at the end. I could have never seen it coming. Jackson did an amazing job of keeping me on the edge of my seat while reading all 400 pages.
Overall, I think that I would recommend A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder to anyone who enjoys murder mysteries. I would also recommend the series; it sticks to the plot of the book with a couple subtle changes. I know this book has been popular for quite a bit, let me know if you have read it and your thoughts!
Thanks for the read,

ReplyDeleteThis seems like a captivating novel, 400 pages in a day? I have never really read any murder mystery novels, but there's a first time for everything.
