WHERE IS OMNI MAN? WHERE IS HE?

Hey fellow bloggers, for the last blog in our Freshman year, I wanted to write about the Invincible series and the comic book version I found in the library. I discovered the show on Prime Video over spring break, and I could see why lots of people were talking about it.

Mark Grayson, the main character of the show and comics is a teenage boy transitioning from high school to college. His dad, Omniman, is the most powerful being on the planet, as he was born on a different planet where all the people have superpowers. Mark has to deal with the things of a normal student and person, along with helping out a superhero group that defends Earth from any other monsters trying to take over Earth. I don’t want to spoil much more, because it isn’t nearly as good if it’s too spoiled.

For those who have watched the show and are up with the brain rot, I have sad news. Omniman does not say “Are you sure?” in the comics where Mark talks about getting his powers at dinner. Besides that, the comic I found didn’t go far enough into the story for the rest of the good brain rot. On a side note, in the comics, Amber is a white blonde girl which made me confused when I was reading the comics right after watching the show.

If I haven’t made it obvious, I highly recommend watching the show and reading the comics. The show is very action-packed and interesting. The plot twists and constant struggles makes the show very enjoyable. I believe the only place to watch it is on Prime Video, so if you don’t have it I apologise. With finals coming up, maybe wait until after exams to watch it so you don’t get too distracted.

Good luck in the final stretch!
